Cory Booker has been filibustering for a while, but there's no legislation that he's stalling.

Legitimate question: what is he actually disrupting?

Procedure, he's not letting the Senate do anything at all. They have to sit there and do nothing until he stops.

Unlike a filibuster he can't be voted down, and he can do this as long as he's able to stand and speak.

So, nothing then. As was stated in the post.

Why are you being so overtly defensive of a group of politicians who will band together to help out mask off fascists while also throwing out this meager theater? 9 dems crossed the isle to make the budget happen.

And as was pointed out elsewhere in this thread,

If the Dems were serious on gridlocking the Senate they should not be providing unanimous consent on things like adjourning and all the other procedural points of order

Replying to the strategies outlined cause I didn't see them. I agree with them, I think Leeja Miller outlined those specific ones.

To do those though they would need the whole of the democrats to get behind those strategies which while not impossible is very hard right now.

What Corey Booker is doing he doesn't need the Dems approval he can just do it himself.
