Agreed. He literally admitted to poking people just to get them to snap in that comment. He's admitted to multiple usernames so that I wouldn't know which user was him as he stalked me. He's legit insane and a stalker. lmao

I've dealt with that on another site. It kills all the fun. Easier to just spin up an alt than to continue to deal with it. Plus it's just good internet safety, keeps you from getting doxzed

Wow, turns out that some clues may point to your friend, PapaSkwat@lemy.lol, being involved with the 'Nicole, Fediverse Chick' spam. And people are saying that the spam looks like some type of revenge situation. Spamming different pics of her and putting her info out there because the spammer is trying to get personal revenge on her or something.

As soon as admins started looking into it, and putting together clues, PapaSwat@lemy.lol deleted his account. Pretty suspicious.

Well, it definitely fits his M.O. since he stalked me and took glee in trying to get me to "snap" (his word choice).

Seems like the poor fellow really was an unhinged stalker. Just like I figured he was. Guess he overstepped his bounds arranging for his spambots to follow me around and try to downvote everything. Because it ended up getting them closer to catching him.

Guess I'm not really the bad guy on Lemmy after all.

Actually looks like that user really was up to no good. And not just because he stalked me.

Seems he may have been taken part in creating/using a downvoting bot army. Not cool.

Someone uncovered a downvote manipulation scheme that was being used on my posts.

And now PapaSkwat@lemy.lol vanished and/or has been removed from Lemmy.

Vote manipulation is bad thing for Lemmy, not just me personally. If they were allowed to do that to me, then it could be used against non-controversial users as well.

Disliking someone and downvoting them is totally fine. Creating bots to stalk and do it in order to make a point, is not fine.

Yeah, he does. He's stalked me under lots of names. I'm still not leaving Lemmy though, so don't worry. :)

I know how caring you are and I know ya wouldn't want me to be bullied off of Lemmy, so I know it makes ya feel good that I'm never going to leave Lemmy.

He just got banned from this community because his comments were getting more and more aggressive and weird.

And it didn't stop me, and I know you'd be happy to know that. You've always been so kind, supportive, and unjudgmental towards me. Especially when you would say "Thanks, friend!"

So I was just returning the thanks for all of your support. I'm not going anywhere and people like you make me even more determined not to go anywhere.

Yeah, some guys just can't adjust well to real life, so they live through trolling. He doesn't bother me and he definitely won't make me snap or quit Lemmy. But he's definitely a troll and people should see it and ban/block accordingly.
