Simple solution, throw both out the airlock!
That's probably actually the best solution. I ain't dealing with an alien imposter.
Actually, that calls into question the whole crew. Maybe he's the only one who managed to make it back and everyone else has also been replaced. Maybe you've been replaced and given false memories?
