I used to lurk on unixporn a lot in the old place, but I never thought my setup was worth showing (no rounded corners, cool floating stuff, slick darcula themes). However...I'm supposed to be an active contributor here 😅

Everything is centered around EXWM which basically allows you to embed your x windows into an emacs buffer (turning emacs into a window manager).

The stuff

Firefox: Zenburn Dark and Dark Reader
Spotify: Spicetify
Discord: Better Discord
Mailspring: Custom
Notifs: Dunst
Screenlock: i3lock-color
Fetch: Fast Fetch
Shell: Oh My Zsh with a custom prompt
Term Emulator: vterm
Desktop manager: SDDM (important ~~if~~ when exwm breaks)
Grub: grub2-zenburn with slightly more accurate colors
Font: Hack
Cursor: Simple Soft Cursor
GTK: zeburn-gtk2-3
Icons: Menta
Emacs: Doom Emacs with Zenburn Theme
Bar: Polybar with a bunch of random custom scripts
Window Manager: EXWM
OS: Arch BTW
Laptop: Framework

Always glad to see another EXWM user in the wild! If they ever manage to add gaps like the other window managers, I think it will really take off in popularity.

Hiya! We are definitely a rare breed.

I'd love for it to take off, but idk how many ppl are weird enough to want to live in emacs with all its quirks.
