It's hardly surprising that you don't have high speed track if there was never a need for it? Not only do you need straighter routes but also the more expensive construction and the electronic in-cab signalling, which is just part of the package when introducing skinkansen

@perviouslyiner There is a need for it. America as whole needs a more robust public transportation system.
