"Few creatures of the night have captured our imagination like vampires.
What explains our enduring fascination with vampires? Is it the overtones of sexual lust, power, control? Or is it a fascination with the immortality of the undead?"
Feel free to post any vampire-related content here. I'll be posting various vampire media I enjoy just as a way of kickstarting this community but don't let that stop you from posting something else. I just wanted a place to discuss vampire movies, books, games, etc.

I never understood where it came from that vampire have a silver aversion. Is it some sort of a mix with the werewolf legend or is it some legend that actually mention that.
The only good explanation I could think about (and did not see this movie) is that it has to do with the shine that could lid to too much light or refection issues.
Idk where it came from, but mirrors used to be made of silver, which is why vampires “don’t” show up in them.
I never heard that link before. On the opposite I've heard they don't appear on mirror because simply don't have a réflexion, either or mirror or on water or anything. That has something to do with they supernatural status and it has the consequence to make them not appear on film.
