Dude there are four comments on this post so far and only one of them sounds like they read it, or maybe got the point of it? Maybe it's just how I'm reading it idk lol

Oh yeah so what I really wanted to say was that I now want to steal this phrase because I did always sort of hate the "swear on something" thing and dad's sardines are cute substitute. I'll take suggestions for others though lol

I very vividly remember my grandpa eating them regularly for lunch, and being mortified because the heads were still on. Idk if I would swear on them/by them though lol
