Love you guys.
Why is it the Midwest can be so good about electing governors, and so bad about electing congressmen and senators?
First past the post voting system doesn’t help.
Honestly, I think people like Governor Tony's vibe but some are racist and didn't want to elect a Black senator and swung the vote right last time around.
Which is a shame, because Mandela Barnes would have been an amazing senator.
Governor = can't gerrymander
Congressman = can fucking gerrymander and fuck with districts.
Look at north Carolina
