The only good thing about a cat vomiting is that they generally give plenty of warning so you can move them or put something in front of them to puke in. At least, in my experience, they tend to make hacking/gagging noises for like 10-15 minutes before actually puking.
I get like 10 seconds for both my cats.
Mine will do a low moan/whine for about 5 seconds.
