lol hilarious, but I think the idea is strategic plans... especially ones that serve as useful tests to find out who the current administration is leaking information to. IE say give a spot very far from where the attack will be. But instead of an attack just release a small batch of surveilance to see if Russia launches any countermeasures.

Then at the time of attack hit hard and heavy very far away from the US co-ordinated attack.

Note the results, show Russia shoring up their defences against the fake attack and announce loudly that the US leaked the information to russia, either intentionally or by incompetence.

I just wish they'd done that before this week's attack as the US may be on to that now.

To be honest, I'd be surprised if they haven't already done this testing in the past 6-7 months which is why no intelligence was provided to the US even hours out (which would be customary I believe)
