I've never played the game, but it's clear to me that season 3 will be heavily Abby focused.

I'm guessing the last episode (or two) will be more even and wrap up the story of the second game.

Now why do we need to wait two years? That's a production issue. Could they have filmed then at the same time, possiblity.
