okay I have to add,
Adora knew princesses were evil in episode 1. She didn't need three seasons to realise the sword is bad. That's just bad writing. They made Adora regress into a monarchist because the plot they had in mind doesn't work if Adora's anti-monarchist views are consistent. It's contrived bullshit.
