Rules…

  1. Women only… trans women are women, and transphobic or gender critical talk isn’t allowed. Anyone under the trans umbrella (e.g. non-binary, bigender, agender) is free to decide whether a women's community is a good fit for them.
  2. Don’t be a dick. No personal attacks, no aggression, play nice.
  3. Don’t hate on groups, hatefilled talk about groups is not allowed. Ever.
  4. No governmental politics, so no talk of Trump actions etc. We recommend Feminism@beehaw.org for that, but here is an escape from it.

I have a couple of men's button-down shirts with fun patterns.

I love neckties and bowties, though I don't get to wear them often.

I get most of my tees from the men's section. The women's tees are always cut smaller and usually too tight no matter the size.

I want to get a waistcoat.

I still rock a wallet chain (and I made the chain myself!).

And I agree with the person who mentioned unisex things like Doc Martens, Chucks, and flannels - those are pretty much staples for me.

The one thing I can't do but really wish I could is men's cuts of clothing. I'm only 5'0" and have a pretty aggressive hourglass shape, plus weightlifting has given me big glutes, hams, quads, shoulders, and biceps, so it's really easy for clothes to make me look dumpy and stout if they're baggy at all. In men's clothes if something fits in the chest and hips it's gonna be super baggy in the midsection, and make me look chunky. So even though I have about 5-8 vanity pounds I'd like to lose, mostly in my lower belly, I try to stick to more fitted clothes because at least those don't make me look heavier than I am.

It might require some alterations, but it could work if you know someone handy with a needle and thread. One of my guy friends wears women's shortalls and looks cute AF, though without alterations, his bust is slightly different, making the chest a little baggy. We need more unisex clothing!
