I watched “The Surfer” last night. The plot was surprising and totally unexpected.

I went in thinking it was going to be yet another tale of revenge. I didn’t anticipate a fever dream commentary on the Australian housing market.

Nic Cage once again devours his roll in that batshit crazy style he has perfected over the years.
