Why will some users downvote everything OP posts, even if it's innocent? (thelemmy.club)

I'm not talking about troll posts, but like innocent posts that always have 1 or 2 downvotes on every comment they post. Is it someone disagreeing or just a downvote troll?

I've begun to suspect that someone is running bots to do it for some unknown reason

I know for me at least, it seems to be one person who made a bot to downvote brigade me, somewhat bragged about it, then got instance banned for it. So now he just creates alts every day.

It's all a total waste of his time too. It's way easier and quicker for me to simply ban him, than it is for him to set up all these new accounts.

Some people are really strange when it comes to obsessive behaviour.
