Walter was such a fantastic character. That show was so much better than it had any right to be… although that last season kinda sucked, but it was overall fire regardless.

It was fantastic. Wife and I are binging Xfiles right now and Fringe is next. Although I think I remember the "monster" episodes being on average less captivating that the "mytharc" ones

I preferred the monster of the week episodes of both series, but that may just be me.

In Fringe ? I agree if we're talking about Xfiles, the monster episodes are unique and surprising.

I kind of liked the last season. But what I liked most about the series was that every season was different. And that they didn't drag it on but created a somewhat coherent ending.
