Well, for starters, "tankie" is a pejorative term used to describe people that are staunch supporters of authoritarian communist regimes, that often overlook, excuse, or just outright support the atrocities that these regimes commit.

Second, I have no issues with a left wing peertube instance. However, Tankies don't like anyone from the left unless they 100% align with their extreme views (they hate Democrats, Social Democrats, and most liberals in general as they feel that they are supportive of imperialism and capitalism), so don't for a second act like I'm in the wrong here for asking people to be extremely skeptical of this source. The label of "tankie" suggests that it's an extremist view of leftwing view points....which goes back to my original comment. Everything should be taken with a healthy amount of doubt and skepticism.
