i have not followed chess drama for sometime. i agree but why are we hating chess.com again?
Because lichess is open source and maintained by volunteers.
it's a for-profit website that tries to do everything it can to get you to subscribe to a premium service (certainly sells your data too) whereas lichess has everything free and open forever
honestly i think half the chess.com evaluation is in their domain. i mean how much did they pay to secure that?

that's a low bar for me honestly, anything above 50 dollars is eye watering in this economy
