I went here with my 6 year old daughter and my parents this past weekend. I grew up coming here with my dad and it feels really special to share it with my daughter. I can't wait to go back.

Awesome! My 9yo daughter will be here for a few weeks soon and was thinking of taking her there. Either that or Twin Lakes, a bit harder but she likes a challenge and alpine views would be a first for her.
Been up to Big Peters lately? Heard that it's fallen into a state of disrepair from nature, idiots, and otherwise. Was sad to hear that.
Twin Lakes is defintely worth it for a 9yo who likes a challenge - my kid was about that age when we first did it and the look on her face when she saw those alpine views was priceless!
