Wouldn't it be more efficient to simply burn millions of tax dollars rather that buying food and burning the food? They could just burn dump trucks full of money and save the cost of moving the food and the fuel to burn it.

But how can they profit from corruption by burning money? You pay your cronies with tax dollars for their food, then you burn the food... because why feed people when you can be cruel? Tax dollars are for squandering.
