Did you watch his Apple podcast? No? Nobody else did, either, because Jon Stewart as an intellectual or podcaster is not palatable.
Jon Stewart is the Daily Show. Without it, he is is a fish out of water. Go watch his podcasts and tell me I'm wrong.
Did everyone forget the one of the reasons the show from Apple was cancelled was Stewart wanted to interview Lina Khan (then head of FCC) while she was raising a case against Apple
I listen to The Weekly Show all the time. It's generally very good, except when he gets Democrats like Raheem Jeffries on and doesn't call them out. That episode was fucking embarrassing.
It's meant to be a more serious forum than a late night comedy show and it is. It's fine, but if you're expecting a monologue, it isn't what you're going to get.
I have also watched plenty of his podcast. I feel as though it's drivel. I was curious if the user I replied to had watched it, though, due to their comment. I'm not seriously claiming nobody has seen it, my comment was hyperbole.
Listened to his podcasts weekly and still do.
I watched his Apple show a few times and the monologues were absolutely dreadful. He's a great presenter, but he really needs a good writing room behind him.
