this guy could become a millionaire if he could make the adversarial noise license plate cover that's imperceptible to the human eye; but given that he could afford all fo those toys to make/test his prototype along his rejection of vc fund proposals makes me think that he's not hurting for money.

which also means that such a thing like the license plate cover is not going to happen anytime soon

in the meantime, i guess i'll stick to just not driving unless i absolutely have to.

If you have to drive, it's nice to know where the cameras are at.

Obviously it doesnt help if youre going anywhere near a town center or highway or etc, but i can get groceries from a local place without passing any if i path it right which is nice to know.

Damn I can't go anywhere. There are 2 at both entrances to my neighborhood.

Car centric infrastructure is a bitch.

Damn that's wild. As a side note, they make some nice paints that can help seal the solar panel from anything harming it like uv rays.

Damn, in my area they're all at Lowe's and Home Depot.

Flock drops the dime on our immigrant neighbors, causes human suffering and increases food prices. Thanks surveillance, I didn't want any fresh lettuce anyway.

It's worth it to note that deflock is highly incomplete though. I'm working on finding ALPRs in my community to add to the database, but based on just what I've seen, it feels like it might only cover 10%, if that, of what actually is deployed on the streets, and I live in a city, not some small town either.

Verymuchso indeed. Theres cameras on the BACK of our traffic lights at every corner in town too that arent on this list.

But it helps navigating backroads/country and im not in a huge city so that's good enough.

I do wave at the residential houses as i dodge a camera at a corner street.

So if theres 40k on this list for the US and apl this is missing, it's at least double that number for sure.

i'm pleased to learn that the only path i drive in is free of cameras and also surprising since it's where every single one of my speed & red light camera tickets have come from.

i guess this city hasn't gotten around to retrofitting the police cameras with these tracking cameras.

very neat and thank you for this.

Good luck avoiding them without making your drive twice as long
