I have a pretty close Polish friend, and honestly most of waht I hear implies that Poland never was anything close to "based". Their government is on a whole new level of stupidity and cringe that other countries can only dream of. Always expect them to do the opposite of what is reasonable.
Our president already proved that he has ability to make someone curl their fingers out of cringe.
