I kinda doubt that Valve would sell. They are a small private company and from what I know, the owner group are already wealthy beyond understanding.

Plus I think that breaking the Microsoft monopoly on gaming is Gabe's mission in life. For those that might not remember, Gabe Newell was the biggest name that moved gaming from DOS to Windows. The fact that Gabe was a part of the golden age of Microsoft and never went back and his company is a thorn in the side of Microsoft constantly... While Gabe is still alive, I don't see Valve ever being anything but a private owned company.

I almost choked when you wrote „small private company“ … Valve makes billions in revenue each year - it is just not public how much exactly (since it is a private company)
