What would actually happen here though? India will just say it wasn't them regardless... Nothing will actually change, exactly like when the Russians got outted for poisioning those people in the UK.

Likely will get used as a political tool / bargaining chip in the future. They won't destroy relationships but will certainly be used as leverage.

given the large numbers of Storm Shadow missiles hitting the Russian Fleet HQ in Crimea -- and killing the head of fleet ops and his staff -- it sounds like the UK is getting theirs. Just took a little while.
