I'm a user that's migrating from Reddit. Most of my fap material was on Reddit and I'm trying to find the lemmy equivalent communities but seem to hit a wall each time via boost. I tried searching for communities without logging in and saw a few but obviously couldn't access without an account.

Made an account in a random instance to turn NSFW on and now those communities don't show (404 community not found). Ok cool, I make an account in lemmy.nsfw but somehow I can't log into that instance here on Boost.

Help a brother out, how do I fap?

From your instances rules:

Pas de contenu pornographique ou Γ©rotique.

Your instance has defederated or blocked most NSFW instances and communities. Join another instance.

Thank you! Making another account, any recommendations for an instance?

I just realised they are manually approving new sign ups in batches so it may take a while to get on there, I guess. Probably why I had the issue with logging into it via Boost

Batches are approved about twice weekly last I heard, and when there isn't a new botfarm applying 100s of accounts, you should be processed at the next batch.

I'm on Lemm.ee and NSFW seems to work fine.

Nope, I just choose mine by country of where I am (after moving on from lemmy.world because the blocked a bunch of piracy communities).

Probably a dumb question - moving from lemmy.world would keep your content in that instance, so what if you've spent a lot of time there and have a bunch of comments and shit, do you log back in if you need stuff or just purged?

If you delete the old account all your posts and comments will be deleted as well. So just leave the account be if you still want to access it.
