This post helped me mess around with Wayland on an Nvidia card and the only thing is that occasionally animations will get frozen and wonky, but I can just log out and back in and things are back in working order. Also transparent themes in Plasma don't work super well, but that's a tiny price to pay to unlock full frames out of my multi-monitor setup.
