Gotg is standalone. You can watch it right after Endgame and wouldn't miss anything.

"Standalone" - "watch after endgame" Unfortunately you contradict yourself. My wife watched GotG 1 & 2, but none of the Infinity War or Endgame. If it was truly standalone, then she wouldn't have been asking me questions about what the heck is going on every five minutes when we're watching GotG3 and I wouldn't have had to tell her that people disappeared, but came back, and the timeline got borked, etc.

I had written my comment under the assumption that you hadn't bothered to keep up with MCU after Endgame.
