Hi! How's the transmission working for you? I'm seeing good old 9-speed Deore and only one chainring, is it enough for your riding?
28 tooth in the front, 8 speed in the back up to 34 tooth. Honestly for most applications it worked pretty good. I did find though that my Hill climbing needs or a little bit more substantial than this could handle. I did a slight upgrade to an 8-speed wide range 40 tooth in the back. Still 28 in the front. A lot better for climbing. Still have to tough it out a little bit on really steep stuff and I would highly recommend just getting a kit from eBay with 11 speed Deore. But this is cheap and janky and challenging and I like it. ๐ ๐ค
I used to have 2x9 a while back with the same derailleur as you and it was great!
Got upgraded to 1x11 sram some time ago, bought Sunrace 11-46 cassette to it so the range is quite big.
๐๐ have a 1x12 51 on my other bike, but that's trail oriented. Looking at eBay 1x11 50 for the trekking bike but I am not feeling pressed.
