Our Rules:

  1. Keep it civil. We're all people here. Be respectful to one another.

  2. No sexism, racism, homophobia, transphobia or any other flavor of bigotry. I should not need to explain this one.

  3. Must be tumblr related. This one is kind of a given.

  4. Try not to repost anything posted within the past month. Beyond that, go for it. Not everyone is on every site all the time.

  5. No unnecessary negativity. Just because you don't like a thing doesn't mean that you need to spend the entire comment section complaining about said thing. Just downvote and move on.

Heaven forbid people get their sense of achievement through hobbies and art instead of the doldrums of survival.

I have executive dysfunction so it's really hard to get myself to do things so I feel a sense of achievement when I do.

That's unfortunate, though it's important not to insinuate that life is meaningless without the struggle of existence. Sense of accomplishment is important, but it shouldn't be coming from the doldrums of life.

At the same time, you SHOULD feel accomplished for surviving, there just should be other things you directly control. An achievement you don't HAVE to do is far more satisfying to accomplish, after all (as in, not a forced decision).
