Hey, German here. What the f*** are Americans doing at the other side of the Atlantic? Some of you already know this monstrosity. I did'nt. This is a Ford F650 Truck and when I stepped out of my Youtube Bubble I realized, it was marketed as the "biggest, baddest Truck on the road" for the everyday American. Are you guys serious?! Is the end goal really to drive a Monster Truck to McDs to get a McFlurry? Americas bloodiest wars have been fought in the middle east to secure oil, bombing nations to rubble. And all, for this bullshit? The excess, waste and decadence is mind boggling to me and people on Reddit seriously justifying this by "you know dude I'm 6,4ft. I don't fit in any other vehicle" makes me go up the wall.

Also can we stop blaming the average american for the shit corperations or the government is doing? We don't like it either, they don't listen to us

Someone must be buying them though, for Ford to put R&D into it, and the whole production process. That's not cheap.

Ford didn't build that. It's just their chassis.

Yep, someone took the commercial truck and slapped a consumer-looking bed on it: https://www.ford.com/commercial-trucks/f650-f750/

I mean. Am F650 is commercial vehicle. You need a CDL license to drive it.

This costs more than a lot of houses, which the average American can't afford either. Most Americans would see this truck and assume the driver has too much money, and is using it to compensate for something

ford doesn't put any R&D into these, or at least not as a pickup. these are custom builds that aren't representative of what's actually being manufactured and sold by major companies. here's an equally bespoke and ridiculous f450 limo pickup.

Not much to it, the boxes are for pickup trucks, the cab is also from a pickup truck but is factory for f650s too. It's a pretty simple job to weld mounting brackets on for the bed, the wiring literally plugs in.
