Oh I see, you were comparing the two rather than quoting me, my mistake

I think you misread test as text

You need a ham operators licence and it requires a test and a whole bunch of knowledge

I mean they have made it a bit more player friendly through the updates, theyve even added an auto-route that walks you to the place you set in your map. But you do have a point, though that's what a lot of people love about the game, it's just you, in a big city, grasping at straws and trying to figure things out any way you can

Kinda look like kit Kats at first glance

OnePlus "used" to be the unlockable phone, they changed their policy around 9 I believe

Fun fact, widdershins is a real word, it used to be used for talking about someone walking around a church counter clockwise, which would make it possible for a demon (or fae?) to snatch children up

I still haven't played it since at the time the game was poorly received, but I have friends who also love that period who swear by it as their favorite, and in the end, thats all that matters in AC, that you love the vibe, right?

AC 1 & 2, I know they're pretty jank now and black flag stole the show, but it was entrancing for young me, it felt like I was entering another world. I would no shit just wander the world for hours just taking in the simulated culture and learning how people lived, it was so fascinating to see how life was back then. I guess that's why AC3 bored me so much, American history is just not interesting to me as it's so recent relatively

It's been a long time but It finally happened, I've been compromised. Like an idiot I reused passwords and they got into most of my accounts. I've changed 300 different passwords and recovered all except one account, my Facebook, which I'm being told is unlikely I'll ever get into again.

This is probably from a data breach, I'm in a few, however, I still want to do a wipe of my PC, but it's been a few years and I don't remember the best practices.

This is a long time coming though because as well as simply possibly being compromised my PC has been experiencing a myriad of errors and annoyances, such as random entire system stutters, apps crashing out of nowhere and general performance slowdown.

Luckily I've got about 7 drives all holding various things, but the entire OS is on the tiny NVME C drive, as well as program installations. IIRC I can factory reset without losing data on the other drives but this one will probably be wiped yes? Is this enough for security though? I would imagine most malicious files would be completely removed by reinstalling the OS but I want to make sure no other avenues exist.

Also what is best practices this day and age to do a clean reset? Thanks guys

It seems i have the option but i have a vague memory of someone telling me not to bother with it unless i had a good reason

So quite a few lemmy clients have a tagging feature for users. I use it quite constantly because I like to remember who I'm talking to. Though for some I just use it for descriptors. A few of you are listed as stubborn, a few of you are listed as don't engage, a few are Nice, or helpful, or Pug. I believe one of you is just listed as fish guy(don't remember why).

How do you all use your tagging system, if you do at all?

I'm starting to reconnect with some of my old friends from high school but they have a 5-year-old now and I want to make a good impression but I don't really know how to interact with children. Do I just like ask them what their favorite Disney movie is or something?
