Feels like this could be Gundy's last year if he doesn't turn it around. Disappointing end to last season and several players transferring out. He's earned a long leash but that doesn't necessarily mean much anymore.

Outside looking in I didn't realize this was the feeling for america's second best orange. Why is that? I mean y'all were playing for the conference 2 years ago and certainly relevant last year

I still have some belief that Gundy has it and can bring us back there. But he and his family have had some beef with the administration and fans, and a lot of people believe the team that made the conference championship was carried by Jim Knowles (who is gone) and Sanders (who is gone). We lost 5 of 6 to end last season including getting destroyed by Kansas State and Kansas, then losing to West Virginia. Then he lost several players to the transfer portal that was rumored to be related to culture / coaching issues. I think we will rebound this year, even with a young team, but if we don't it would definitely put some pressure on him.
