I'm literally in the exact same boat, I had more or less stopped flipping to this game thinking "TSIO will be special this year, UGA is now a possible to probable win". Happened to look at my scores page and see the game was competitive all of the sudden and flipped in time to see Georgia go up. Neither team has put together a full game yet, but theoretically both teams have shown the ability to win any game they're in so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Man I hope you didn't stop watching, what the fuck is this game?

What does it mean to be the "most liberal college" in florida? Is this in the actual college administration? As my understanding and experince indicates that colligate student bodies trend liberally to begin with, and I've seen nothing to indicate that would change even in the hellhole that is florida. (Yeah rich coming from Tennessee, I know, but I'm genuinely curious)

Hot damn, Illinois has already scored and they're still walking on the field in the UGA/bama matchup? Wow espn is gonna overproduce the shit out of this

Auburn and Ole Miss wearing full suits doesn't even make sense to me, an SEC fan

Hearing the Avengers theme finally making its way into some of the bands' repertoires, kinda surprised it's taken so long. Lil Nas X's Industry Baby got playing time like right away. Must be disney pulling strings...

[–] g0d0fm15ch13f@lemmy.world 1 points 2 days ago

Army

They're also tied for the longest active winstreak... I might be about to rank Army

[–] g0d0fm15ch13f@lemmy.world 1 points 2 days ago

Yeah the Chinese fire drill FG is just fucking dumb

Also are we allowed to say Chinese fire drill these days? Asking for a friend who wants to be respectful of all cultures

Welp, I'm happy with this. TN plays alabama, florida, Kentucky fulfilling my criteria for a schedule. We even play Vandy so the blue hairs can be happy and Georgia so idiots who think they're a blueblood can be happy too!

Edit: although now that I'm looking at it, it's just this year's schedule with flipped home games...

I think obvious strikes and home runs, like banning advertising that shows how gambling works seems like abstinence only education. But no advertising during sports events is a slam dunk, to switch to another non football sport analogy.
