Yeah it doesn't take a genius to see that all the people (ehem I mean gangster warlords) the US (aka DoD) empowered are all sitting in gilded palaces in Dubai. The only individuals and organizations that benefited from the US' occupation of Afghanistan were: the few who got visas to the west (and even they might actually have been better off if the US and NATO never came and disrupted their lives), the gangster warlords, and the Military-Industrial complex. Literally over $1 trillion went to the warlords and like 10 US defense contractors.
