The Return of the MicroMatic Mammoth Monday Formation Flight

  • Brush: Rubberset 400-3 with a 26 mm unbleached Zenith boar knot at 56 mm loft
  • Razor: GEM Micromatic Flying Wing (NOS, chrome plated)
  • Blade: Personna GEM PTFE
  • Lather: House of Mammoth Hygge
  • Aftershave: Declaration Grooming Opulence
  • Fragrance: Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille
  • Talc: Pinaud Clubman Finest Powder

Mammoth Monday with a Flying Wing. I realised yesterday how I missed this little tradition that had its heyday in 2022. Hygge feels right for today, with sub-zero (°C) temperatures and snow falling. I'm adding warmth in vanilla form with Opulence and Tobacco Vanille. I've never smelled Parfums De Marly Layton, but I like the dupe in Opulence.

In today's #Talcening news, I overdid it with the talc and looked a bit clownish. Luckily an easy fix. But it feels smoooooooth!

Great photo!

I had planned to use Marilyn today, but changed it up when I saw your MMMMFF comments. I’ll be joining the formation I think.

Up the talc learning curve you go!

Great photo!

Thanks! They will look similar all week😅

I still haven't tried Marylin even though I have a smush of it. I'll have to remedy this deplorable state of affairs!

I bought a sample of Marilyn soap and could not get a vibe from it, but I liked the scent. I then bought the EdT and gives me more of that sense of a night out during the '60s. Now I wish I had purchased a tub. I assume that Will will release this again in the spring.
