Oh it's definitely a thing abroad as well. Mainly in English speaking countries but it exists and it's batshit. Chek out Munecats video on it. It's great.

Of specific interest, is seeing how they would attempt to get home. Being difficult on home soil is very different from being an idiot far away from home, with nothing but props for legal documents.
