Wednesday, January 31, 2024: Random Wednesday

I felt it was time for me to revisit this small straight razor, but I found it considerably less easy to use than my better straights (the Koraat, the TI and the Parker). It's just to light, and it doesn't cut through the stubble as easy as the others – even though the end result was not that bad. The sparking joy side of this razor is somewhat underdeveloped – but then, this may be just the Soviet spirit still lurking in it.

I also went back to Ishtar. I loaded heavily, and got a good lather.

Have a good evening (I'm having a bad head ache; going to bed soon).
