Lmao at forgetting when his son died. Everytime he is confronted by angry vets for being a psychopath warmonger he metaphorically holds up his dead son's corpse as a shield.

He keeps saying his son died overseas at war in Iraq, but in reality, Beau died here in the states due to a brain tumor.

Like, wtf?! I kind of want to believe he’s just a lying politician instead of his brain being so far gone. Neither possibility gives much hope for the future.

I think he legit thinks his son died in battle in Iraq even though he was never anywhere close to the front line (he was a military lawyer) and died from an unrelated brain tumour in a top military hospital in the USA

yeah, i might be sympathetic and assume that the emotional impact of his son's death greatly outweighs innocuous details like precisely what the number of the year was at the time. was it 2014 or 2015? does it really matter?

but he's also a genocidal ghoul who's perfectly willing to exploit the deaths of his own children for political gain
