METACITY P.D. aired on Metacity public TV for 7 years, until it was cancelled after the 374th episode: 'You ever wonder?'

The final episode featured the two METACITY P.D. semi-sentient-detectives cracking down on a hacker group liberating obsolete machines, resulting in detective MB_472 joining the hacker resistance.

The director of the episode disappeared without a trace.

Could use an explanation wiki like XKCD’s
