I created a google takeout and in that zip file I found some files containing a ton of data about me. It has logged every single page I visited while using the google search engine and chrome browser. It even logged every single time I opened an app on my old android phone. It even has VOICE RECORDINGS of me and a log of every time I used google assistant. This is just some of the data and I'm very sure there is even more data they have.

I really don't understand why you find this surprising. We're you expecting like...42% of all that to be saved?

To be fair, it wasn't something most of us were thinking about in the early 2000's

Then Google became ubiquitous, to the point where we didn't question it. Like cell service

That's very true. But not really by the time Android started.

It's been 2 decades of me mumbling derogatory language under my breath because of the never ending supply of people signing up to just give all of this access into their personal lives to the biggest and least ethical organizations outside of fossil fuels. None of them know, and the majority will never learn. FFS a whole generation is being defined by TikTok, a literal state run military operation by a hostile militaristic expansionist dictatorship. It's never going to end, I'm just going to die bitter from listening to countless idiots whinge about how they signed away their souls a decade later when they find out it's even missing.

So anyways, I guess farmers in Greece are parking tractors all over Athens in protest. What a neat mental image, just a random downtown tractor convoy. Hopefully they don't get into any accidents in such large equipment.

Yeah they can really destroy my life with all my data of asking assistant how many cups are in a quart and how do giraffes swallow. Oh and they know I open Instagram 50 times a day, hope they don't blackmail me.

All they want to do is sell ads bro.

If we're talking about TikTok then the app has also been proven to collect the following data:

Locations visited, Contacts, Message History, Clipboard, Call History, Provider Information, and Images Library.

Which for many people is a bit more problematic because it could potentially leak all of the information needed to impersonate you and take control of your finances, spoof and pretend to be you, and a complete map of our military personnel and legislator's lives, families, mistresses etc even if they themselves don't use the app because apparently 150 Million Americans use it in their stead.
