A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. The best ones are thoughts that many people can relate to and they find something funny or interesting in regular stuff.

Why not just call them a brood while your at it? It's because we're humans, and we don't like to be reminded that we're all just one worldwide catastrophe away from reverting back to savage animals.
World wide catashtrophy more like 3 warm meals
If everybody skipped 3 meals at once that would be a global catastrophe
Because then if your twin children got into a fight whilst cutting out paper star decorations you would get to say its star craft brood war.
