I always vote for democrats, if that's what you mean, but I don't see how being forced to vote for one party forever because the only other viable party is perpetually worse can be called "democracy". Seems to me like democracy is already dead.

The real Democracy is not necessarily done at the ballot. Thats just to allow you to do the real work: You organise, unionise and educate the comming generation.

Voting tactically is just the fuel to keep the engine running, until you reach a better place eventually.

And if I have to vote for the lesser of two evils for the rest of my life, then so be it. If that guarentes the chance of a brighter future and for meaningfull action to be on the table, I gladly do it.

Very simple. But hard to accept.
