Alright. Try Kimba the White Lion.
A young exiled male lion cub tries to reclaim the throne of his dead father from a dark-maned usurper who has a scar on his eye with the help of a bird, a mandrill and a warthog. The usurper has comedic relief companions in the form of hyenas and the protagonist's father appears in the clouds to give him advice. The protagonist confronts the usurper and ends up dangling off of a cliff. A large rock forms the center of this kingdom, there is an elephant graveyard as well as a benevolent king.
The above paragraph describes both Kimba and the Lion King
