This has been tried before and it didn't work out so well

I do wonder how much of the trouble with the Bijlmermeer was simply due to Dutch weapons-grade racism, however.

Interesting but the problem this seems to have is that they didn't populate it and they appear to have underestimated their maintenance costs with all the new free space.

It's also not actually as radical as I want it to be. The entire ground level should be all green space. It should be beautiful and well maintained on a daily basis by the city.

I do agree with some of the takes though about the lack of commercial areas. That's not even just a problem with people going outside but also a problem of convenience itself, things people need should be within 5-10 minutes walk from home.
