Not deleted, but exploring the alternatives.
That's where I'm at. I think I like this place more than tildes from what I've seen.
There's still a few niche things that warrant keeping my account and using old.reddit for the time being. Mainly, I get most of my local city news from the local sub - I don't think Lemmy will ever be able to replace that
Extol them on the virtues of lemmy :) you could have a whole instance for your city!

Really gave me the push I needed to figure out Mastodon, and through Mastodon I found kbin and lemmy. These platforms have a long way to go, but it really seems like the big central platforms are losing more and more ground every day as users search for alternatives.
same. i still get a lot of value from non-tech subs. its just too bad eveyrone has a heavy ban hammer.
