This week it's arch, though I do dual boot win11 specifically for iracing and iracing alone as that doesn't let me run it under proton.

Hey man, I've commented this before to someone else, but you could always try GPU pass-through on a W11 virtual machine. If you don't care for the marginal performance decrease it's certainly worth it, and it means you truly get to stay in Arch!

Hmm, sort of, maybe. It's already a bit marginal on VR performance, so I think I'd feel it a lot more through that layer of abstraction too
