Condorcet is not either of those things but it’s better than some. V321 or STAR outperform all other voting methods by large margins, especially with resistance to strategic voting and manipulation. https://electionscience.github.io/vse-sim/

Quite an interesting resource. While I can not determine how accurate the simulation is to reality, it appears that the methods you outline are in fact 5% better at dealing with situations with high strategic voting.

Yep, there’s actually another good resource that shows why it’s the case and why IRV is quite terrible (barely better than plurality). I’ll try to find it
