Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).
Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

You don't have to. Just replace Manjaro mirrors with the Arch ones, and you're good to go.
Sooooo, ignore every point I made and propose jumping to yet another distro. Great advice.
Manjaro has a history of being sloppy especially with web security. The reason people suggest Endeavour has the same goal (more user friendly arch) without some of those drawbacks.
Let me try smaller sentences.
Plasma 6 just came out recently. It still has issues. It's going to keep having issues until they're fixed. You changing distro does not make the KDE developers fix the issues faster.
You seem to be missing the forest because of all the trees in your way. The statement to not use Manjaro has nothing to do with KDE or any other DE/WM and everything to do with the development of the OS.
Manjaro the distro is not being developed by the webmaster of manjaro.org.
