Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).
Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

Sid Meier's Civilization VI (or any other part)
0AD is better
The two games are not even remotely related, 0AD is more comparable to Age of Empire series.
I feel guilty, I've downloaded it but haven't played it yet :')
0AD is really fun (and hard)
No joke, that's the main reason I've barely played it. Even with the built in tutorial and with Distrotube's guide on 0AD I still feel a bit lost and overwhelmed
@theshatterstone54 @TwinTusks Did you play against the easy AI ?
Back in the days when I first started I had to play 10 games before I could beat the Ai because I chose the normal mode.
But playing against the easy or very easy AI gives you all the time you need to understand the mechanics
I can beat easy AI, but theres like 60% chance I'll lose on normal.
@TwinTusks How does it go ? Is it that you get overrun by a larger army ? Or you have trouble maintaining your economy ?
#0AD #games
I noticed that I'm not good with mid/late games. I win easily if I rush the enemy. However, I like to build up when I'm in the lead, but I am not good at it.
Chances are, I spend a lot of time treating the game as city builder and when AI rushes, my army are too spread out. And when I'm rushing, I can't keep up with the reinforcements, so when my wave was blocked, I'm bascially sitting ducks as AI would slowly encroaching my base.
@TwinTusks Do you research economics/military upgrades enough ? Do you build siege engines/elephant ?
Usually for me the rule of thumb is :
- no unit that does nothing
- no building that produces nothing (i.e., try to never get popcapped and always produce, so you need to have all the resources you need to produce)
I understand, however, I noticed that during mid-game I tends to treat the game as city-builder and be more relaxing. Thus, "no unit that does nothing" and "no building produces nothing" doesnt seem fun to me, and the reason why I'm being overwhelmed by the AI.
